In response to clients’ needs to reduce the time and expense associated with the development of compounds, Helix3 has developed multiple endpoint protocols combining standard tests with the comet assay. Incorporating the comet assay in the standard battery of in vitro and in vivo tests (or even early stage research & development) provides the ability to detect multiple classes of damaging agents in the same study using the same test system and exposure conditions. And by including the comet assay in the in vitro tests, results are directly comparable to target organ comet data from in vivo studies. |
